The Wedding Band

Darren and I initially wanted to get a plain yellow gold wedding band. I loved the idea of having a boring round golden loop with no diamonds, no designs, no lines whatsoever on it. Just a plain gold band. When we went to goldsmiths shops like Poh Heng, the gold band feels solid and snugly comfortable on our fingers.

But there were concerns that it will clash with the solitaire, and also if it will look odd if I were to pair it with other accessories in future. Ultimately, we decided to get something that we both feel safe and loved unanimously at the same time.

We went to GoldHeart and found this simple band – a combination of shiny white gold and matted rose gold. Simple, modern and classy. Its lovely! We paid for the rings and it will take 2 months before we could collect it. Our ring sizes were a tad too small, therefore customization was needed.
