The Feng Shui Master

27th July 2008

We consulted in a Geomancer (aka Feng Shui Master) for our new home. Well, some people believe in it, and some people doesn’t. Seriously, I don’t know how to explain it, neither would I force my friends to listen to my ramblings. I guess for me, I think that my wedding and my home is really a new beginning for me. Managing my own home, my husband, my in-laws, my kids in future. There’s a whole lot of Life awaiting to begin. So since all this has yet to start, I think a little more peace of mind is really more than welcomed. :)

So the Geomancer we went to was Master Ang Geomancy Services. You can check out his webpage, he looks exactly like what you see there – a very friendly and warm uncle. A little something from his webpage – which i think is pretty meaningful. Although, I think he speaks pretty straight to the point – in a good way. He doesn’t beat around the bush, but speak things as it is (from my opinion). Most importantly, he doesn’t recommend that we hang this here and hang that there to boost our luck. So he scored brownie points from me, because I am not particularly in love with those ornaments. lol!

First, he went to our new home after the first appointment to look at the physical environment. Took note of the directions and general layout of the house.

Next, he gave us a report and advise us on the analysis of his findings. He analyzed our ‘Eight characters’ and advised us on our elements. From there, he would advise what are colours good for us and what not. Next he went through the layout of our house and advise us where changes are needed.

I think Feng Shui is generally very subjective. So far, Master Ang has given us advise which Darren and I think is useful and practical.

Lets look forward to an awesome beginning! :)
