Happy Birthday!
To the three very important people in the world!
ONE – DARREN NG
Its my hubby’s birthday. We spent the day together but we didn’t celebrate it the traditional way. We were busy sanding and varnishing our kitchen cabinets. It turned out a little disastrous, though. Lol! Initially it was due to our lack of skills, later after we found the right technique, we came across a big stumbling block – the cabinets were too oily.
Then again, what a way to spend his first birthday as my hubby ah!
TWO – LAVENA XU
My dear girl should be somewhere out of Singapore while celebrating her birthday! She is my colleague who became a close sister. Together we shared lotsa ups and downs, we got lost and found directions again. We bitched and gossiped. We shared cabs home after work and umbrellas when it rained. Though we might not be the closest of close friends, I think I am really glad we have each other in our hearts.
Hope she is enjoying herself wherever she may be. Looking forward to seeing her really soon!
THREE – LEE KUAN YEW
He is one great man. I think if ever I have a chance to meet him, I would be so honoured!! I think without him, the tidy red dot would never become red. It would be drowned in the masses of blue and green in the world. Without him, we wouldn’t be here today enjoying a prospering economy and stable governance in a land with no natural resources and built by foreign talents.

So Happy Birthday! The only wish I have for them is for their wishes to come through.
Lee Kuan Yew is a great man, one major reason why I migrate to Singapore. Besides the wonderful Singaporean
